Hennessey Juices the Jaguar F-Type
Tuesday, November 10th, 2015Hennessey is at it again. They’ve turned an already fast car into a really fast car. Nobody would say the F-Type is underpowered, but Hennessey saw the potential for more. The kit they made is called the HPE600, and you might have already guessed, it makes over 600hp.
The healthy boost in power comes from a variety of upgrades. A new supercharger pulley is used and a new intercooler. Perhaps the most important upgrade is Hennessey’s custom software. With all of the go fast parts, you’ll get a 3 year, 36,000 mile warranty so you can smoke your tires in confidence.
The 5.0-liter V8 can now make 623hp and 568 lb-ft of torque with the help of Hennessey. It can go 0-60 mph in just 3.5 seconds and will cover a quarter mile in 11.4 seconds with a trap speed of 126 mph. Another cool thing to know about this upgrade is that is will work on any Jaguar that shares the V8
