Volkswagen's MQB Platform
Wednesday, October 2nd, 2013Volkswagen has its sights on becoming the worlds largest automaker within a few years. With makes such as Audi, Bentley, Lamborghini, and Porsche under its umbrella it is hard to see why Volkswagen wouldn’t become the worlds largest automaker. To help them achieve their goals, Volkswagen engineers have been hard at work developing the MQB platform which underpins models such as the Audi A3 and VW Golf. Audi is in charge of the MLB platform which represents the new longitudinal engine component structure which will make up next generation A4 and Q7 models. And the third platform known as the MSB is being produced by Porsche for future sports cars.
