BMW was expecting to sell 10,000 units of the i3 next year, however, preorders of the i3 have already hit 8,000.

The CLA45 AMG is the smallest AMG model offered by Mercedes Benz and is the first 4-cylinder AMG model in its lineup. Being the cheapest AMG model the question is does it live up to the AMG nameplate? The CLA45 is powered by a twin-scroll turbocharged 2.0-liter 4 cylinder engine which produces a huge 355 horsepower and 332 pound feet of torque. The twin-scroll turbo pumps out a colossal 26.1 psi of boost. The CLA45 has the most power dense engine in the world producing 178 horsepower per liter knocking down the Porsche 911 Turbo.

Aston Martin has confirmed that it will not adopt gasoline-electric hybrid technology. More recently many sport car manufacturers like Ferrari, Porsche, and McLaren have been adopting hybrid technologies to meet emission requirements and to boost the performance of their vehicles. By adding hybrid technology these makers are adding complicated electric systems and weight to their vehicles. Aston Martin plans to meet strict emission requirements by making their vehicles lighter and more aerodynamic with the use of carbon composites and by fine tuning their V12 engines to maximize efficiency.
